Why I'm Doing this

I love food blogs, and healthy lifestyle blogs. I read them all the time. It's great to get ideas and see people who successfully eat health, whole foods in a crazy, fast paced world dominated by fast food chains.

My story is a little different, I'm not a success. I hope I will be someday, but I'm starting this blog at my absolute worst. I hope this gives me some accountability and motivation to succeed in my goals.

What are my goals:
1. Obviously, lose weight
2. Eat healthier, whole, natural foods
3. Make fitness a priority
4. Gain back some self esteem

I hate saying what I weigh now, it's honestly a bit embarassing. And I'd be lying if I told you doing this blog isn't embarassing. I don't really like the idea of what has happened to me over the past few years, but I want to take positive steps for my future and thought this would be a good way to do it.

I hope that I can help other people take similar steps and reach their goals, maybe we can do it together! I'd love to hear tips from everyone, new foods or activities to try, and for this to become a bit of a forum for people to help each other reach their goals.

Let's hope I can reach my goals, for sweets sake!
