Meet The Bakers

We are NOT the Bakers. At all. Nor do we have any baking talent whatsoever. But we thought this might help us with our lack of skills.


Isn't it pretty? All you have to do is add the ingredients and press the buttons? I'm in! Let's give it a shot!


Little did we know, it's a little harder than it looks. Either that or else we're just bad bakers. End of story. This is what zucchini bread fail looks like:

It may look fine, but really it's as hard as a rock and tastes like dirt. So what did we do wrong? It may have been overcooked. We let it sit out for a little while after it was done because we weren't home. The recipe could have just been bad. We got it from the book though, so we thought we'd be safe
 

You've failed me Cuisinart Recipe booklet. I am sad. But alas, I am too stubborn to given up. So now, we are trying wheat bread. I'll keep you posted! We had to improv a bunch of ingredients and add more water so I'm not sure how it will turn out....Stay tuned folks!

  1. For an experiment you could make the same exact recipe and see how it does in the regular oven. I'd be really curious!
