Hump Day Madness

Today was a busy stressful day. I had time to make a sandwich while I worked through lunch.

Turkey, fat free provolone cheese, sprouts, mustard on homemade multigrain bread :) yumm! the bread was a little too much though, I ended up taking the top off and eating a topless sandwich. That sounded bad. Moving on...

I also snacked on some greek yogurt later.

and some much needed dark chocolate during a meeting where, according to my coworkers, my facial expressions were priceless. The chocolate was very necessary during the meeting. When bosses supply chocolate at a meeting, you know it's going to be interesting.

Fiance helped a friend move all of their things into storage all day. He would send me texts throughout the day. Towards the end of the day, I could tell he was beyond exhausted so I decided to surprise him and have dinner ready when he finally got home.

Hot sauce is fiance's favorite ingredient.

A little blurry, but you get the point. Hot chili sauce, smothered on tofu=

yumm! I mixed in some honey and thai sauce to sweeten it up a little.

Then veggies cooked the same.

Very very spicy tofu stir fry! With a slice of multigrain bread on the side.

I was most impressed with the bread I made. I had to add a few more cups of water but it was still kind of dry. It was a vast improvement from the zucchini bread though.

Well we're both tired, full and happy campers so it's off to bed!

Have you done something nice for your significant other today? I've found that when in doubt, food always does the trick. The way to a man's heart really is through his stomach.

  1. While obtaining instruction over the phone, I moved all the cable/wireless/router blah blah blah cords up stairs yesterday and RE plugged everything in. I was glad once the project was finished.. and I really love the way our new "office" looks upstairs. Too bad we're moving in two weeks lol.
