Happy Weight

So I love what options Self has on their website to keep track of calories, work outs, and questionaires to help give you more information about what you might need to look good and feel good! Today I wanted to see what they thought was a "Happy Weight" for me.

What's your Happy Weight?
From: Self Happy Weight
Let's just say, I don't weight that. But I'd like to. In high school I hovered between 140 and 150lbs. At my thinnest I was around 135, at my highest during high school I was around 180. All it took was a few months of weight watchers to learn how to eat right in 8th grade and I dropped almost 40 pounds in a minute. It doesn't seem to be quite so easy these days. I guess my metabolism at 13 is not what it is at 25.
This also made me a bit depressed today:
What's your BMI?

Your BMI of 35.4 indicates that you are very overweight. (Ideally, your BMI should be between 18.5 and 24.9.)

Being overweight increases your risk for health problems such as heart disease, diabetes and some types of cancer.

I don't feel like I'm THAT overweight or out of shape. I work out probably 5 days a week. But clearly, I have a problem. I'm going to try to stick with the calorie counter for a few days and really keep track of what I'm eating and portions and see how that goes.

I guess everyone needs a starting point though, so we'll look at this in a happy way...atleast there's lots of room for improvement!
