Energy at the end of the day

I almost forgot what it feels like to come home from work with energy! Crazy thought there. But I came home ready to go and popped in this bad boy.


















Not sure if I can lose 20 pounds in 30 days but let's give it a try and find out! It was a fun 20 minute workout. Nothing too intense. It looks like a wimps workout next to Insanity. But I think it does the trick. I was sweating, my arms were feeling weak towards the end, not so great on the abs though so I might do a little more for the abs. Maybe even P90X Ab Ripper X. To be completely honest, I can't even do the insanity abs workout. I last about 4 seconds before collapsing into a pile on the floor. Literally, 4 seconds. I can finish the ab ripper though, no matter how painful or how many breaks I have to take.

Lately I've been getting heart burn when I'm working out. It's only been the past few weeks, but I've never had that before. Anyone know why? solutions?

I was expecting to get done and be starving, but surprisingly I'm not hungry.  I whipped up a green monster to get some protein in post-sweat session





















That's right, pictures are back in action. I knew my luck had to turn around at some point. Not quite as good of quality but I'll take what I can get.

Blue Green Monster
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 1 scoop strawberry whey protein powder
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 banana
  • 3/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • about 3 frozen strawberries because that's all I had left and figured I should use them 
  • A handful of spinach..again, it's all I had left so to make it a true green monster
  • 1 scoop Amazing Grass Berry Green Superfood

Blend and enjoy! I do have some leftover turkey I may heat up if I get hungry a little later.
